Angi Leads
Bring your Angi leads straight into UpSmith so your AI agent answers them automatically. Angi delivers leads over a secure webhook that's unique to your account. Setup is self-serve in UpSmith, with one coordination step: you send Angi your connection details so they can register the endpoint before leads start arriving.
Before you begin
A lead responder set up. An agent with a linked channel must be assigned in Settings → Lead Settings, or the Connect button is blocked — otherwise leads would have nowhere to go.
Your Angi Company IDs (SPIDs) — one or more, from your Angi account.
A contact email (and a CRM key only if Angi or your CRM specifically asks for one).
The Angi card is available to every account on the Integrations page — there's nothing to switch on first.
Step by step
Confirm your lead responder is ready. In Settings → Lead Settings, make sure an agent with a linked channel is assigned. UpSmith blocks the Angi Connect button until this is true.
Configure the connection. Open the Angi card → Connect → Setup Angi, and fill in:
SPIDs — one entry per Angi company ID (blank entries are ignored).
Contact email & CRM key — the email Angi should use; leave CRM key blank unless it's explicitly requested.
Environment — choose Test while validating, or Production for live leads.
Click Create connection — it's created in Pending status.
Copy the webhook URL and API key. UpSmith reveals both in a credentials window. The API key is shown only once — copy and store both securely before closing. If the key is ever lost, use Rotate key on the card to generate a new one, then resend it to Angi.
Send the credentials to Angi. Email crmintegrations@angi.com and ask them to configure the production endpoint for the Leads API webhook. Include your Angi Company ID(s)/SPIDs, the webhook URL, the API key, your contact email, and a CRM key if you use one. (UpSmith's "How it works" window pre-fills a suggested message you can copy.)
Activate. Once Angi confirms the endpoint is set up, return to the Angi card and click Activate. If anything's still missing, UpSmith tells you what (e.g. Lead Settings not configured, missing API key). After activation the status flips to Connected, and incoming Angi leads flow in and trigger your agent automatically.
Connection states & controls
Pending — created, awaiting activation. Connected — live. Paused — processing stopped without deleting the connection. Needs attention — something needs a look.
Edit setup — update SPIDs, contact email, CRM key, or environment anytime.
Rotate key — generate a fresh API key (shown once); send the new key to Angi to keep delivery working.
Pause / Resume — pause stops processing without deleting the connection; resume re-enables it instantly.
Last webhook received — a timestamp of the most recent lead, so you can confirm at a glance that leads are arriving.
